How we dispatch

We want to make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible, and we will work hard to dispatch by the next day for orders received Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday. During busy sale periods, orders may require up to two additional business days to be dispatched.

How we deliver

Our preferred carriers are courier (DHL) and Royal Mail.

We give you the choice between either service for orders weighing 2kg or less - that’s approximately two to four jars. If the order exceeds 2kg*, it will be delivered by DHL.

Delivery costs are based on the total weight of the items purchased, how quickly you wish to receive your order and where you would like your order to go.

Domestic Orders

Royal Mail

For most addresses in the UK, Royal Mail will deliver 1st Class parcels within one day and 2nd Class parcels within two to three days, Monday to Saturday. Please allow two additional days for Highlands and Islands, Monday to Saturday.

Transport disruptions and operating issues might have an impact on your delivery. You might wish to check Royal Mail’s Service Updates to see if there are known issues in your area.

Please be advised that Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays or on bank or public holidays.


DHL will deliver the next day for mainland UK deliveries. For deliveries to the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, delivery times are more likely to be one to three days.

Due to current legislation, we are unable to deliver to private addresses in the Russian Federation.

Charges associated with customs duty are not included and remain the responsibility of the recipient when purchasing in pound sterling (GBP £).

Royal Mail International Standard

For addresses in Europe, Royal Mail will deliver within three to five days. Royal Mail requires five to seven days for deliveries to the rest of the world.

Local transport disruptions and operating issues might have an impact on your delivery. You might wish to check Royal Mail’s International incidents update to see if there are known issues in your area.


DHL will deliver to addresses in Europe and the rest of the world within two to six days.

Order Tracking

On dispatch of your order, you will be sent a shipping confirmation email with your carrier information and tracking number for both delivery services.

Returns & Exchanges

Did your order arrive damaged?

We make every effort to package orders securely, although sometimes damage occurs during transit. We suggest that you open all parcels and inspect the contents immediately. If you discover damage to your order, please contact us within five days so that we can submit a claim to the carrier and issue you a replacement.

Was there a flaw or mistake with your order?

We want to ensure that you enjoy your purchase. If there is a flaw to the merchandise, or if we managed to make a mistake somehow in packing your order, we will accept a return for a refund or replacement for orders received within 30 days. For purchases discovered to be faulty within six months, we will issue you an exchange.

Have you changed your mind?

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 14 days of receipt for further advice on how to proceed. Merchandise must be in a new and unopened condition. For purchases made in-store, we reserve the right to exercise our discretion in accepting this kind of return.

Are you unhappy with what you’ve bought?

We always have our range open and available for customers to taste at our stall in Borough Market, and recommend popping in if you can. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of opened product that are otherwise non-faulty. Whilst we do our best to describe our products accurately, whether in store or on our website, please remember that preferences are personal and can be subjective.

To keep in mind

We’re happy to accept returns in line with the above policy. Please ensure that all returns that are posted back to us are handled by an insured carrier. Pimento Hill cannot be held liable for any returned items that either fail to arrive or fail to arrive in the expected condition. Pimento Hill will not be liable for any customs duty charges incurred when returning goods.

We are unable to accept any goods that are returned outside of the return period, damaged or worn, or are returned without the original documentation.
